Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Harmony developed a PLC toolkit to help teacher leaders lead their PLC groups, unpack standards, identify essential learning targets, set SMART goals, create common formative assessments, analyze data from common assessments, identify intervention strategies, and share their learnings as they repeat this cycle. Teachers come together in district-wide PLCs 7 times a year (3-hour sessions at each meeting) and also in campus-wide PLCs either biweekly or every 3 weeks to drive their own professional learning.
